This one is a great video of the 2006 FIFA World Cup semifinal Italy - Germany, one of the greatest soccer game played in recent history. When people say Italy vs. Germany is always special match, they are completely right.

Fabio Caressa’s commentary contributes to make this match legendary (too bad, if you don’t speak Italian). The music, Going The Distance by Bill Conti from the Rocky Soundtrack, is the best to represent the 120 minutes of drama played on the field.

I have recently read this book from Robert Kiyosaki and I have found it a good source of ideas. The author describe the different attitude towards money. Robert’s real dad was an educated person, who believed in education as a mean to get a good and safe job place, with good salary and benefits. His other dad (actually he was Robert’s best friend’s dad) left the school and dedicated himself to build a financial empire.

Two months in Italy and corn dogs and chicken nuggets lose their luster. As I look at the sea of fast foods, the great taste of the delicatessen of Europe dances in my head. The taste of exotic oils, fresh food, and cheeses can make one cry. Would you like fries with that? I don’t think so…

Obama Barack

Senator and Presidential Candidate Obama Barack gave a speech in Fairfield on Tuesday. One of the most interesting events I attended in Fairfield since I got here in Fairfield on January 2005.
As a foreign citizen, I don’t have right to vote. But I was still curios to meet the guy who may become the next US president. I have seen a lot of people there, and I was surprised how much Americans get involved in politics. I found many fellow students of mine were working as volunteers for Obama’s campain, and the large crowd was really enthusiastic about during the speech.
I forgot last time I voted in my country (probably it was 2001) but I can guarantee Italians don’t believe in politicians as much as Americans.
